Prototype with neural networks and clustering to predict local fashion trends

SECOND PLACE

Member: José Humberto Najar Venavente.

This tool allows for optimizing creative decisions, reducing overproduction, and strengthening value chains in the textile industry. Its objectives include promoting sector sustainability, supporting emerging designers, and democratizing access to advanced trend analysis. Its impact is reflected in greater operational efficiency and in waste reduction. This AI prototype predicts local fashion trends using computer vision and clustering techniques, which contributes to minimizing waste and strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs dedicated to design and production.

Sensei

A compact, intelligent monitoring device that measures environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and specific gases to optimize the management of perishable products in agriculture and other sectors. Sensei detects changes in real-time, allowing users to make informed decisions and reduce losses.

Sotz

A portable ultrasound device that uses artificial intelligence to provide medical service to hard-to-reach communities. With the goal of identifying patterns that can be described based on a "yes" or "no" to know if they need specialized medical services.

Flofi

Radio frequency device for sensor networks, capable of connecting up to 65k devices and measuring environmental variables such as humidity, temperature, and air quality. Using artificial intelligence, it predicts the spread of fires through algorithms based on optimal mold paths. Its goal is to revolutionize the detection and monitoring of forest fires in Guatemala.

Own It App

Ownit is a mobile app that organizes your wardrobe and uses artificial intelligence to create outfits adapted to the occasion and weather. It improves its recommendations with your feedback and suggests items from conventional stores or small businesses based on your tastes and retrieved data.
