Computational Analysis of Molecular Docking between RAMP1 and Serotonin

Structural Modifications and Therapeutic Perspectives:
Perform a computational analysis to evaluate the molecular interaction between serotonin and the RAMP1 protein, identifying the structural bases and thermodynamic viability of this complex.

Bleaching of corn husks for tamale production with an ecological approach

To develop and evaluate alternative methods for bleaching and disinfecting corn husks using alkaline aqueous solutions and ecological oxidants, which allow for the substitution of the traditional sulfurization process, while maintaining the quality of the plant material and reducing environmental impacts and associated health risks.

Curcuminoids as photosensitizers and antioxidant capacity agents applied in photodynamic therapy

The synthesis and evaluation of a collection of molecules as potential photosensitizers (PS) for their application in photodynamic therapy (PDT) is proposed. The proposed structures have been designed based on criteria that seek to: (1) optimize interaction with light through an extended conjugated system, (2) improve the energy levels of the HOMO and LUMO orbitals to favor the generation of reactive species, and (3) increase water solubility and biocompatibility, using structural blocks that are not toxic to eukaryotic cells in the absence of UV radiation.
