Pro Niños
Fundación Mexicana Pro Niños has been working for over 30 years on the comprehensive care of children and youth in street situations due to violence, abuse, or addiction. Their innovative model includes three programs: a day center for children from age 8, with academic, sports, psychological support, and basic services; a shelter for youth aged 16 to 20 that promotes rehabilitation, independence, and educational continuity; and a family intervention program to prevent more minors from ending up on the street. Thanks to this comprehensive approach, the foundation has rescued more than 800 children and achieved an 85% success rate in rehabilitation, independence, and social reintegration, offering young people the opportunity to exercise their rights and build a dignified life project.
