Today marks a historic step forward for innovation in the Americas. The Organization of American States (OAS) and ILAN – Israel Innovation Network have signed a framework cooperation agreement to promote innovation as a key driver of regional development.

The signing ceremony took place at the OAS headquarters in Washington D.C., where our president, Isaac Assa, emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership in strengthening regional cooperation, unlocking new growth opportunities, and facilitating knowledge transfer.

“This agreement will be a catalyst for the change our region needs,” he stated.

Luis Almagro, Secretary General of the OAS, also underscored the significance of this alliance as a shared commitment to improve the lives of citizens across the continent through innovation:

“Innovation is the path to wealth creation. And without the ability to generate wealth, it is impossible to create more rights for more people.”

At ILAN, we remain deeply committed to making innovation a powerful tool to serve well-being, education, health, environmental protection, and social transformation.

This partnership represents a bold vision for the future—one where innovation empowers communities, builds bridges across nations, and creates lasting impact for generations to come.
