ILAN–UNL University Innovation Awards: Empowering Purpose-Driven Ideas

Today marked the successful conclusion of the Demo Day of the ILAN–UNL University Innovation Awards, an initiative that recognizes and boosts student-led projects with high social impact potential.

In collaboration with the National University of the Litoral (UNL), this call brought together undergraduate and graduate students determined to transform their ideas into real-world solutions. After a competitive and enriching process, eight finalist teams presented their projects before a panel of expert judges.

🏆 RESET – Develops additives with encapsulated bioactives using nanotechnology for the food, nutraceutical, and cosmetic industries. Their first product is a nanoencapsulated CBD powder, highly stable and soluble, allowing companies to innovate without changing their production infrastructure—enhancing the functionality of existing products.

🏆 Science and Technology in Action: Virtual Chemistry Lab – An immersive virtual lab where users can select different materials (e.g., metal, glassware, biosafety) and enter a specialized environment to interact with virtual elements. Each item includes visual and auditory descriptions, and users can complete an interactive self-assessment at the end.

🏆 InfectoSys – A medical platform that integrates technology into the workflow of Infectious Disease departments in inpatient care centers. It aims to improve process efficiency and patient care through a scalable and adaptable solution across healthcare systems.

At ILAN – Israel Innovation Network, we firmly believe that universities are fertile ground for transformation. Building bridges between Latin American talent and Israel’s innovation ecosystem is a core part of our mission.

As part of their award, the winning teams will travel to Israel, connecting with one of the world’s most advanced tech ecosystems. This exchange not only broadens horizons but also strengthens capabilities, strategic partnerships, and global scalability.

The event was honored by the presence of Adriana Camisar, Executive Director and CEO of ILAN Argentina, who praised the quality of the finalist projects and emphasized the importance of continuing to foster university-driven innovation in the region.
